Although the presence of our friends and family at our wedding (most of whom will be traveling great distances to attend) is the only gift that we truly want, some of you have asked whether we are registered. Given that the designer of our Brooklyn apartment thought that kitchen drawers are an unnecessary extravagance and that most people like to have their closets in the dining room such that they must get dressed where they eat, a traditional registry really does not make sense for us.
